Evita is a musical with music by ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER and lyrics by TIM RICE. It is based on events surrounding the rise to power of Juan Peron and the significant role played in these events by his wife, Eva Peron. This Tony Award Winner for Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book is sure to be a wining afternoon for everyone.

Travel to San Francisco and see the works of Dale Chihuly. Chihuly is the most famous craft/glass artist living today and subject of many popular exhibitions. The exhibition takes a broad view of the colorful, and textured works that generate instant international recognazition.
In the tradition of the medieval workshop or the studios of Louis Tiffany, Chihuly uses his workshop as a fulcrum for his creations. The full exhibition is at the de Young Museum and a neon tower will be installed at the Pool of Enchantment on the building’s east side.
The will be time to visit the entire museum, have a NO HOST lunch, visit the Japanese Tea Gardens (additional cost) or walk across the street to the botanical gardens.

The Monterey Peninsula ’s natural beauty has made it a favorite destination of travelers around the world. Our trip will include, overnight accommodations at the Beach Hotel, the area’s only ocean front hotel – walk out the door onto their sandy beach! We will spend an afternoon in Carmel with time for no-host lunch before taking the beautiful 17-mile drive. The next day will be spent at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and browsing the shops or sitting in the sun along Cannery Row.

Modeled after Sacramento's 2nd Saturday Art Walk, local galleries keep their doors open for an evening reception on the 3rd Saturday of every month. Tour maps are available at participating locations.
