2-5 year olds Mommy and Me Play in Clay!
What better way to encourage your child’s creative
impulse than with clay. This class fosters creativity
and visual artskills, while offering parents or caregivers
the opportunity to explore a new art form with their
child. Taught by a professional clay artist. Requires
parent or caregiver participation.

Create with Clay: Ceramics 101
Create an array of hand-built clay sculptures and
pottery using coil, slab and pinch techniques in addition
to glaze and under glaze application. Students are
encouraged to further enhance imagination through
directed and individual pursuits in clay. No prior clay
experience is required; however, more challenging work
will be assigned to students with previous experience.

Printmaking 101
Printmaking is fun, easy, and enjoyable! Make your own
original cards, paper, and more! Learn a variety of easy
printing techniques including: carved stamp prints, Plexiglas
monoprints, xerox collage prints and silk screen prints.

Make It Sparkle: Jewelry making 101
Students will learn the art of making bracelets,necklaces,
and earrings–a perfect opportunity to make gifts for
Mother’s day or for yourself. Have a ton of fun exploring techniques using wire and polymer clay beads among
other materials and techniques. No prior jewelry making
experience required.

Clay Animation: Stop Motion 101
Learn the best techniques from an animation model maker.
Whose credits include working on Pee Wee’s Playhouse and
who has worked with Nick Park, famous for Chicken Run,
Wallace and Grommitt, and Creature Comfort. See your
sculpted objects come alive through a blend of stop motion and traditional flat animation. Students will leave the class with a copy of their short animation and be able to bring home some of their sculpted models.

Wild Child Outdoor Photo Camp
Capture nature through photography. Don’t have a
camera? No problem, a camera will be provided for use
during class. You will get the best tips and tricks on how
to achieve a professional photograph by one of our own professional photographers. Composition, rule of thirds,
and taking quality portraits are just a few subjects
covered during the class.
