Wonders of Water

Children's Art Contest

Let your imagination soar as you explore through art, the contest theme, The Wonders of Water. When you think of water, what comes to mind visually? Chose your medium and express yourself!

$750 in prizes!
Some entries may be chosen for permanent display in the new

Women and Children’s Center at Kaiser Permanente’s Roseville Medical Center.

Eligibility: Open to all artists, ages 5-17. Artwork must be original two- or three-dimensional fine art.
Two-dimensional work must be framed and ready to hang. Three-dimensional work must be free-standing.

One Entry per child, $5 per entry: The show jurors will determine which pieces will be awarded prizes.

Awards: All participants will receive ribbons. $750 in prizes and ribbons will be awarded, with one Best of Show; and 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each of five age categories. Honorable mentions may also be awarded.

Deadline to enter: Complete the entry form and bring it with artwork and payment to the Blue Line Gallery, 405 Vernon Street (first floor of Roseville’s parking garage) on Saturday, June 7, between 1 and 6 p.m. or Monday, June 9, between noon and 4 p.m.

Pick up artwork: Monday, July 28, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., or call (916) 783-4117 to make alternate arrangements. More details will be handed out when you drop off the artwork.
