Starting with traditional styles and subject matter, her love of the abstract was an evolutionary process. Along the path, she discovered that acceptance as an abstract artist is not easy; many prefer traditional pastel styles and subjects. Following her heart, she continued to create abstract pastels. It was a good choice. Her work is now accepted and praised by many collectors who have grown to love her vibrant, glowing, pulsing expressions, which remain fresh and provide new discoveries for their owners years after purchase. “I do what makes me feel happy and try to create uplifting art.
